Gallery Volunteer

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers like you to join our team and make a difference in the world of photography.

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is a dynamic and inspiring space that celebrates the art of photography in all its forms. We host exhibitions, workshops, and events that showcase the works of talented photographers, both local and international. Our mission is to engage, educate, and inspire the public through the power of visual storytelling.

As a volunteer at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, you will have the chance to:

 

Gallery Hosting: Welcome visitors, answer questions, and provide insights about the current exhibitions.

Event Support: Assist with the setup and coordination of gallery events, workshops, and artist talks.

Art Installation: Work with our team to install and deinstall exhibitions, handling artwork with care and precision.

Creative Input: Share your ideas and suggestions for enhancing the gallery experience and expanding our outreach efforts.

 

By volunteering with us, you will:

Requirements: Some Customer Service experience is necessary – and genuine enthusiasm for photography and a willingness to learn and grow.
Be willing to give up a minimum 2 hours of your time per week.
We welcome individuals of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities.
